Hello friends, it's your buddy Lou Pickney with you here with the DKDB update.
March 23rd, 2026.
I put the best of the best in the DKDB.
My expert curated 2026 NFL mock draft database.
Human curated.
With real people.
No AI.
No staff efforts.
No tandem.
Just the best of the best in here.
A bunch of new mock drafts that have come out in the past few days.
My next mock draft will be out later this week, probably by Wednesday.
So I anticipate having that out.
Some more I need to go through and crunch through.
It's a lot to parse through at this time of year.
Pro days taking place.
Fallout from perceptions from the NFL combine.
Evaluations coming in from a lot of different sources.
Makes it quite interesting.
My next mock draft will be up at mockdraftnfl.com coming up.
And you'll have it and I'll have it updated here in the DKDB.
This is really the place to look.
Make sure you bookmark the DKDB.
Check it on a regular basis.
I keep it updated.
I'm going to go through now and react to some of the top 10s for some of these new mock drafts.
With brevity in mind, I plan time to talk about that full first round.
But the top 10's going to set the scene for how things play out.
So let's start first with Charlie Campbell of Walter Football.
Big fan of what Charlie has here.
He and Walter do a great job.
Walter gets people engaged.
Sometimes they get riled up and that it ends up being formed engagement.
Walter's really adept at doing that.
And you got Charlie in there.
His stuff's legit.
Anyway, so it's Mingoes at one to the Raiders.
Everybody's going to have that.
There's no use in worrying too much about that at this point.
Arvell Reese to the Jets at two.
That's the thought at this point, the most likely thing for the Jets.
It's possible they could go with David Bailey, edge rusher, but a lot of thought the Jets are going with Reese, dynamic linebacker, who can play off-ball linebacker and yet also play edge rusher.
Unusual physical skills.
He's legit.
The Jets talk about all the problems they had as far as zero interceptions for the entire season.
Well, part of that's because the Jets were actually terrible on the pass rush as well.
So, if you're not pressuring the quarterback, it's going to be fewer throws made under duress and thus a lesser likelihood of interceptions.
Although, zero is absolutely ridiculous in 17 games.
So anyway, it's Reese to the Jets at two.
At three, Charlie Campbell has Francis Mauigoa, offensive tackle from Miami to the Cardinals.
I can see the Cardinals potentially trading back if somebody wants Jeremiah Love, maybe a trade up to this spot to get him.
But in this draft with so many few top quarterback prospects, trading back easier said than done, perhaps.
But here, if the Cardinals stick and they don't go with an edge rusher, Mauigoa would fill a huge need at right offensive tackle.
Steady performer at the U.
But Charlie Campbell has it three.
At four, Jeremiah Love to the Tennessee Titans.
Now, I've had a lot of thoughts about it.
I called four men's lacrosse games in the span of eight days.
I had a lot of time driving back and forth from my place in the Nashville area over to Sewanee, University of the South.
Beautiful up there.
Absolutely love it up there.
But I kept thinking about last week with Adam Schefter saying that he believes that things with Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah start at five with the New York Giants.
He looked very uncomfortable, unusually so.
Schefter's usually pretty smooth on camera.
He also knows things.
I think some were quick to dismiss him as far as talking about Love not going to the Titans at four.
We'll see, but I think in my next mock I'm not going to have Love going to the Titans.
Make of that what you will.
Um as a Titans fan personally, I would be very, very happy to see the Titans bring in Love.
But this has nothing to do with what I want or what I'd like to do.
I'm not a general manager.
I know people that know things and there are hints that it won't be Love here.
But if it is, great.
I'll be having a win-win.
Okay, either I'm right or I'm happy.
And I'm sure I'll be happy if we get a great edge rusher here.
I think the question for the Titans, we'll get to this more a bit, what happens if David Bailey's off at three to Arizona or whomever else?
We'll see.
At five, Charlie Campbell has Spencer Fano, offensive tackle, Utah, which is interesting.
I think that's very high for Fano in some ways.
I think if the Giants, if you're going to want somebody to play guard, Ben Bredeson from Penn State isn't really the guy and I I think some teams have him maybe as a backup to a backup plan.
But some people are very high on him.
Fano is also well regarded.
His arm length is the big question.
But you could turn him into a guard.
Maybe the arm length isn't as much of a problem.
Anyway, so Charlie Campbell says Spencer Fano to the Giants at five.
At six, Caleb Downs, Cleveland Browns.
There's some that are a little bit mm not fading Downs.
I don't think it's fair to say, but there's some not as high on him particularly thinking like top five.
And maybe Downs will be the move here.
I mean, he's a tremendous player.
That read and react ability, it's just how much do these teams value the safety position?
I would also remind everybody that the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in last year's draft traded up into the high second round to get Nick Moody, a safety that really looked like a first round prospect that happened to slide because that's what happens sometimes in the draft.
And they won a Super Bowl.
And the NFL's a copycat league.
So, something to keep in mind.
But whether it's Downs or I I've seen less and less as far as Manti Te'o feeling the Browns at six.
I've seen I felt a fade on that.
Downs would fill a a need spot in that Browns defense.
And if I've mentioned this plenty of times because it warrants mentioning, there's not been a pure safety taken in the top 10 of the NFL draft in 10 years.
Perhaps Downs will break that streak this year if he goes to Cleveland at six.
At seven, Charlie Campbell says Jordan Addison, wide receiver Arizona State to the Commanders.
That's interesting.
Think the Commanders.
At one point I thought, okay, edge rusher probably, but then after free agency, spent some money.
All right, well, what else are they going to be looking for?
Here it's Jordan Addison, but he's healthy.
That's the question with Addison, can he stay healthy?
If he can, I mean, the potential for him is huge.
He's a gifted playmaker.
A lot of fun to watch just as a neutral viewer.
When he was healthy, those Arizona State games were a lot of fun.
Parnell Tate to the Saints at eight.
Incredible at getting open in 3 seconds or less, which is a remarkable trait to have as an NFL receiver, certainly.
Where what costs dudes being open is considerably more narrow than in college.
And those pinpoint throws.
But it would certainly help out Tyler Shuck to have a very reliable receiver in Tate.
But perhaps that's the move for the Saints here at eight.
That's what Curly Campbell says.
At nine, David Bailey, edge rusher, Texas Tech to the Chiefs.
I've gone back and forth with Bailey as far as like, "Okay, should I pencil him in at three to the Cardinals?
Should I keep Maui Nua in there thinking, maybe they'll just take him there at three?
Look, who cares what other people's boards have?
If he's going to fill a need and they really like him, I still wonder if a team like the Commanders at seven would potentially trade up to try and get someone like Jeremiah Love at three.
But if Bailey's Again, the Chiefs have not drafted in the top 10 in several years.
And the chance to get an elite edge rusher, which is very difficult because that position is in major demand, is a premium spot.
While Bailey's not as well-sized as some other top edge rushers like Ruben Bain Jr.
He's got the arm length.
He had a great season at Texas Tech for transferring in from Stanford after the 2024 season.
And here he goes to the Chiefs at nine.
Then at 10, Sonny Styles, linebacker, Ohio State to the Bengals.
Well, I thought that Styles could go top five.
Go to the Giants potentially five.
But here he's still on the board for the Bengals at 10.
Styles had a very strong showing at the NFL Combine.
My reaction there are the top 10 from Curly Campbell of WalterFootball.
Now, let's take a look at what Pete Prisco has.
CBS Sports.
Pete's first mock draft of this cycle.
I've noted before, I'm a big fan of Pete's work.
I've read his stuff for a long time.
He's really good.
I enjoy that and I encourage you to go and read these mock drafts.
I'll have links to them in the DKDB, but also in the description section of this YouTube video.
I'm just looking at the top 10 of these here.
Cuz that's again, as I noted, it's going to set the scene for how things play out and there's a lot to parse through from the last several days.
The Mendoza at one.
I mean, Fernando Mendoza, quarterback, Indiana, is going to be the number one overall pick barring a massive surprise the likes of which we have not seen in many years.
Pick at safe to say.
But the Raiders are not allowed to say who they're going to take at number one.
It's not allowed.
Like the old days anymore.
There was a time when the team with the number one overall pick could negotiate with different prospects.
And that went away when they got the new collective bargaining agreement about 15 years ago.
Orvelle Reese at two to the Jets.
I mean, he was officially listed as an edge rusher for the NFL Combine.
But you'll also see him listed as linebacker.
I've kind of got back and forth like, well, pick is really is unique.
They're all unique, right?
But his skill set would set him apart.
David Bailey at three the Cardinals.
So, this is where it's interesting to me and I think Pete's onto something here what might happen.
If the Cardinals look, we could use we could always use an elite edge rusher, of course.
So, Bailey goes at three.
Ruben Bain Jr., edge rusher, Miami Hurricanes.
There will be many, many people talking about this, speculating, etc.
as far as how Ruben Bain Jr.'s arm length at sub 31-in arm length measurement.
Because historically there have been very few success stories as far as edge rushers arms that are shorter than 31 in.
However, Reuben Bain Jr.
plays with a ferocity and a absolute motor that won't stop unlike practically anybody else.
He's just going full strength every play.
And I think adding him to that Titans defense could be very interesting.
Bailey or Bain if they're both on the board would also be interesting.
But again, I this thought that Love will go to the Titans at four maybe it could happen.
I think he could be very valuable as a receiver out of the backfield but I think there was something to what Schefter said about Love's window starting at five.
But here at five, Sunny Styles.
I mean a lot of this what Pete laid out is what I was going through with some of my preliminary stuff for my next mock draft.
This is right along the lines of what I was thinking.
Now if now we know he goes at three, that changes things.
So maybe maybe it's Bailey over Bain, I don't know.
Sunny Styles, linebacker, Ohio State.
Great showing at the combine.
I think he's a viable possibility here for the Giants.
At six, Carnell Tate.
Wide receiver, Ohio State to the Browns.
A lot of newer mocks have Tate going top 10 which is interesting.
Very reliable.
And I was afraid for his sake and not afraid but I thought well, he's not going to run an ultra high-end 40-yard dash and some people were going to hold that against him even though they already know this going in.
You they are expecting him to be a track star out there.
With that said, I think others looking at it say, "All right, this guy's legit.
Just look at his tape from Ohio State.
Consistent, gets open, catches everything." I mean the guy just doesn't drop the ball.
Jeremiah Love at seven to the Washington Commanders.
I think there's something to this.
If he's there, and maybe the Commanders wouldn't move up necessarily cuz there's other high-end players that they can have a crack at here.
But Love is a special talent.
He'd be a nice fit with the Commanders if he's there at seven.
At eight, Ala Dotson to the New Orleans Saints.
Pete Prisco notes that Dotson could play the star role, a hybrid player.
A few hybrid defensive players in this draft.
For us, what do you can do other than really is a pure safety.
It's just a unique spot.
But whichever team brings in Dotson, he's going to be able to do things that few others can do at safety.
It's a unique gift he has, a reaction time.
At nine, Francis Mauigoa still on the board going to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Pete Prisco notes in this first mock draft for the 2026 cycle, the needed right offensive tackle the Chiefs.
And if Mauigoa is still there, a nice pick up.
And then at 10, Jermaine McCoy to the Cincinnati Bengals.
So that'd be McCoy is the first corner off the board.
Well, I stop at the top 10.
We've got several mocks to get through.
And he does have Mansour to line at 11.
So, I don't know.
I felt a fade as of late on McCoy.
I don't go out there and have a full workout, convince everybody that you're good to go.
And there're plenty of people I think, and even the ones that are maybe down on him a bit, still seems a first-round pick.
But this could be the move.
If Cincinnati goes with a corner with McCoy there at 10.
That's my reaction to the top 10 from the latest mock draft from Pete Prisco.
Let's see what Nicholas Rome of Saturday Blitz has.
Remember, I have the links in the description of this YouTube video, but also the very latest on the DKDB.
I'll link to it.
Bookmark it.
The The of the best in here.
Nicholas Rome of Saturday Blitz.
Free agency has changed things considerably for many of these teams.
No change at the top though for Fernando Mendoza of the Raiders.
You can find 10,000 different ways to write about it.
You're going to have the same conclusion.
Telling you that right now.
Arvell Reese, edge rusher Ohio State.
So again, another thought with a a fresh for today mock draft and Reese to the Jets at six.
That's holding as far as the way things are looking.
The perception at this point.
Another David Bailey, edge rusher to the Cards at three.
Here's a thought.
Jeremiah Love to the Titans.
And they're still I mean I don't know what the odds makers say.
But Love is still the one they think that'll go in this spot.
I don't know.
Just indications that I don't know.
Sonny Styles to the Giants.
Mentioned before would be a a nice fit.
Just give me Styles.
Great job at the combine.
Solid player at Ohio State.
Part of a defense that I think once we're a few years removed, people will appreciate even more what Ohio State had.
Particularly with that championship season 2024 but also last year.
Lot of talent on that defense.
Here's Monroe Freeling to the Browns at six.
I felt a pretty sharp fade that's hit on this last couple of days.
Look, Freeling is still perceived as a work in progress.
But he had an off-the-charts showing at the combine.
Really impressed a lot of people.
But maybe the Browns be more like we'll get you at 24 as opposed to six.
I get that feeling.
But I also think that Freeling might not even be there at 24, so that could change things as well.
Maybe the Browns will go with him there, but I've just as of late I've seen a bit of a fade on that.
But here, the thought is Browns Freeling.
Well, here's Carnell take to the Washington Commanders.
Okay, you're noticing a lot of these if either you're going with a safety or linebacker or receiver, but not really edge rusher, which I think probably fits more the most likely outcome for the Commanders the way it looks at this point.
Here's Mansour Delain going to the Saints at number eight.
I haven't heard much talk about that as a possibility, but I like it.
I think that's a viable option for the Saints.
Delain is very highly regarded.
The nfl.com some of the analysts there really like him in particular.
Here he goes to the Saints at eight.
At nine, Nicholas Rome says Ruben Bain Jr.
edge rusher to Miami to the Chiefs.
Well, the Chiefs do have a need at right offensive tackle, and the chance to get an elite edge rusher.
They haven't drafted this high in several years.
I can see that being very tempting depending on who's on the board, of course.
And then finally at 10, Caleb Downs, Ohio State safety going to the Bengals.
It makes sense.
There's Mazi Smith sticking in Miami at 11.
That's my reaction to the newest mock draft from Nicholas Rome of Saturday Blitz.
Now let's see what Right now, but Michael Middlehurst Schwartz has from USA Today.
Will Anderson at one to the Raiders.
You already know by now.
At two, again, Arvil Reese, linebacker, defensive end, edge, Ohio State, to the Jets at two.
I mean, that's More and more people are saying that.
It's more than just like 50% the way it feels now.
Again, this It's March 23rd now.
The draft isn't until April 23rd.
A lot can change in that final month, but I think the Jets are probably starting to close in on who they want here at two.
They know they'll get everybody that's not for Ndamukong Suh to choose from.
They'll have their pick of the entire group.
Got to boost that defense up.
Here's a reason to.
Bailey at three, I If it's not Noway here, Bailey is an edge rusher.
Understand teams value edge rushers.
Premium position.
I can see it.
An unresolved issue at right tackle.
There'll be right tackles available on day two.
Arizona can fill that need there if they need to.
Again, I could also see them trading back for the right deal.
If somebody's wanting to leapfrog the group to get up there for Jeremiah Love, that's the kind of player somebody would make the move to get potential.
I don't think somebody's going to do that for the quarterback position in this draft.
Not at three anyway.
The trade up.
You're not getting the Raiders to trade for what?
Forget that.
Sonny Styles to the Titans.
Wouldn't that be interesting?
Again, there's plenty of thought that this Jeremiah Love to the Titans is not at all a lock by any stretch of the imagination.
It's not just something that Adam Schefter said is a one-off.
There's other people are seeing this, too.
And then Jeremiah Love still on the board going to the New York Giants.
I think there's a lot of regret for certain people in the Giants organization for Saquon Barkley ending up leaving and going to the Eagles.
Sticking in the division.
And more often than not trying to chase aging running backs.
But Barkley still got a lot of gas in the tank.
Anyway, Love would be a great addition to the Giants.
Monroe Free links another thought Free link to the Browns.
Again, I'm starting to feel a fade on that, but not everybody's feeling that.
Caleb Downs to the Commanders, I like it.
Another non-edge rusher for the Commanders, Cornell Tate to the Saints at eight.
And you a reliable target that's going to get open.
Hefty contract given to Travis Etienne Jr.
I don't think the Saints would be looking running back here, but Tate a receiver.
It's all a possibility.
Here's another thought, Ruben Bain Jr.
Edge rusher Miami to the Chiefs at nine.
And then here's a this is interesting, Dylan Horton to the Jets.
Safety from Oregon to the Cincinnati Bengals.
The NFL is a copycat league and the defending Super Bowl champion in last year's draft traded up to draft Nick Herbig and Worrell High in the second round.
The copycat NFL makes it easier to pitch using a premium pick on a safety.
This might be a bit high.
But if Cincinnati has its heart set on a safety and they don't get Caleb Downs, well, perhaps Horton might be the move.
That's my reaction to the Let's do the top 10.
Sort of want to get through a few more.
Probably if you go too long with these, the show goes for an hour.
It's a bit much.
Now let's hear from Devin Jackson the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Mendoza at one, you know this already.
Another thought, Ar'vell Reese to the Jets at two.
Notice more and more people are saying that.
I could it trending that way, I agree.
Not insane.
Solly Styles of the Giants.
This is one of these projected trades.
I imagine the the Cardinals would love to trade back.
I can see that being a strong possibility if a team like the Giants would be willing to move up there.
I just have Love going to the Titans here at five.
Here's Monroe Freeling at five to the Arizona Cardinals.
I don't see that.
They need a right offensive tackle that can play like right now.
Freeling's more developmental.
He can develop into an outstanding left offensive tackle in the NFL, but I don't I don't see that.
But look, this isn't me going through to disagree saying, "Okay, this is what this particular mock projects." Keep these things in mind.
And it could happen.
Sometimes things surprise you in the draft.
Well, we're going to play him at right tackle, and that's that.
Teams will find a way to use the players they draft in the positions they want to put them in.
But at best case for Freeling, the chance to develop at the left offensive tackle position.
Whatever the case, it's Freeling to the Cards at five.
At six, Reuben Bain Jr., edge rusher, another projected trade.
The Saints trade up to get Reuben Bain Jr.
Interesting.
Like, do you really need to jump Washington to do that?
I don't know.
Here Washington goes with Cordell Tate.
I always thought that Tate's going to be a top 10 pick.
And he could be.
I mean, he's a solid prospect.
And you got Jordan Ta'amu to the Browns who trade back here to eight.
Ta'amu playing for the Browns would be interesting.
He's healthy.
Major difference maker.
I've gotten the that Tysons kind of moved ahead of Makai Lemon as like the top receiver you hear talked about along with Carnell Tate.
Perception at this point.
And nine the Chiefs get Mansour Delaine LSU.
And then here's Caleb Downs on the board for the Cincinnati Bengals at 10.
It's my reaction to the top 10 from Devin Jackson of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Let's hear from three more here.
Chris Perkins, South Florida Sun Sentinel.
And those at one of the Raiders of course.
Reese to the Jets at two.
Over and over we're seeing this.
Notice how this keeps happening.
At three David Bailey, edge rusher Texas Tech.
Interesting note here thinking that Bailey and Reese might be able to potentially flip-flop positions.
I don't know if the Jets would take Bailey if Reese is there, but I think the Cardinals would take Reese.
Like think of some crazy scenario where somebody trades up to get Love at two.
Say that happens.
And they can take any defensive player they want.
I think they're taking Reese.
But if Reese is gone, Bailey to the Cards, I could see it.
Here's Dallas.
Out of nowhere the Cardinals or the Cowboys trade up with the Titans.
They get Jeremiah Love jumping the Giants.
There'd be some very polarizing reactions to that I suspect.
I wonder if the Titans would trade back or they got their heart set on an edge rusher here.
Or if they want Jeremiah Love and and I'm wrong on that.
I'm just the indication seemed to be that as much as Love is well regarded the Titans wouldn't necessarily take him there.
But Dallas might.
At least according to this latest mock draft, Caleb Downs to the Giants at five.
And there's some questions as far as Downs medical evaluation, make sure he's healthy for this upcoming season.
And that's going to play a role for Downs as far as You're going to use a top a top five pick on a safety, you better make sure he's good to go.
But Downs is a special player, unique talent.
We knew that before all these past seasons.
This is not a surprise.
Even under tremendous pressure, he played very well for Ohio State last year.
Part of that great defense the Buckeyes had.
Here's Francis Mauigoa to the Browns at six, which is interesting.
Note that he could shift inside to guard.
Would you draft Mauigoa to play guard over Vanga Ioane?
I wonder if Vanga might go to Cleveland at six.
A little thought bubble.
There's certain indicators like, okay, Vanga's getting a look up here higher.
It's not just people talking about the New York Giants.
Five, maybe not.
The Giant Maybe they would go at the five.
Who knows, but I don't know, it's interesting to think about.
Can somebody play guard?
Well, Mauigoa's tremendous, obviously.
Well-regarded prospect.
But do you go with a guy that's been playing right offensive tackle for years to play guard when there's a really perhaps a superior guard prospect for the guard position itself with Vanga Ioane?
But ultimately, of course, what matters what the individual team thinks.
Here it's Mauigoa to the Browns at six.
Ruben Bain Jr.
to the Commanders at seven.
Again, I think the Commanders have I think their edge spot is okay for now.
Maybe they'll fill it with this player later in the draft.
Maybe I'm wrong.
The way it looks now, though.
But here I mean, here's an indication that there are other lines of thinking that say, "Yeah, look, you can't have too many edge rushers in the modern NFL." And Bain has motor.
He'll give us full effort on every play.
Man sort of laying to the Saints today.
Had that great season for LSU after transferring in from Virginia Tech.
And that was despite LSU having a disappointing 2025 season.
But he stood out.
Jermaine McCoy, I've seen him listed above Delaine in some mocks, but more often than not, you're going to see where Delaine is the first corner projected to go in the draft.
At nine, Monroe Freeling to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now, that would be interesting.
There's a thought Freeling still is a top 10.
He could be.
Some see him as the top I think longer term to develop into a left offensive tackle at book end, blind side protector.
Interesting spot there for the Chiefs at nine.
And then 10, look at this, Jermaine McCoy to the Bengals at 10.
And I'm seeing other indicators saying that like, look, McCoy still a first rounder, but maybe more toward that bottom part of the first round.
And others still saying, look now, McCoy, he's legit, top 10.
That's my reaction to the top 10 in the latest mock draft from Chris Perkins of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Two more, Chad Reuter of nfl.com.
What Chad has for his top 10.
Urge you to go through and read these various mock drafts.
Give me my reaction to them here.
The DKDB update.
And those at one to the Raiders, you know this already.
I think every team every mock we've looked at to this point has at least the Jets at two.
That's Maybe the Jets have already decided, maybe not.
But that's what it looks like at this position.
LB/edge, it's really tough to put Reese in one box because of his unique skill set.
At three, Francis Mauigoa to the Cardinals.
You see how it works out.
You get Mauigoa to the Cards at three and that frees up the Titans to go with David Bailey, edge rusher at four.
I think that's a distinct possibility.
And then the question is the Cardinals would you go with a right offensive tackle with the number three overall spot.
Here's Jeremiah Love to the New York Giants at number five.
The part of the value with Love is that he's a remarkable receiver out of the backfield.
He was such a reliable running back at Notre Dame.
That's going to get the bulk of the attention.
But remember though, in the modern NFL, it's what value you can bring the passing attack that is becoming every year it tilts more and more in that direction.
It's just reality.
Game has changed.
Important rule changes made for safety reasons.
That had to happen.
But that's also had the results of tilting the game in favor of passing attacks and thus also passing defenses.
And thus that's devalued the running back position.
I've done this a long time.
The days of three running backs going in the top five of the NFL draft, what was that, 2005?
Those days are gone.
The sport has changed.
And yet, if you're a good receiver as well as tough to be a great running back, that's where you're enough of a special talent to receive an all-right.
You can do things as a receiver along with being a steady running back that few others can do.
That's going to get you a look.
That's why there's all that talk about Jeremiah Love.
Here he goes at five to the Giants.
At six, Monroe Freeling to the Browns.
We got I've spotted sent some fade on Freeling as a top 10 pick, even.
But maybe okay.
It sounds like a reaction okay, the Browns might be interested more like a 24 as opposed to six.
Maybe I'm wrong about that.
Again, I got to put that caveat out there.
Very important.
But it's something I've sensed.
And yet there are plenty of mocks that are still saying Freeling to the Browns at six.
So it's something to keep in mind.
At seven, Sydney Styles on the board here for the Washington Commanders.
Think that would be a nice pick up there for Washington if he's there.
Styles started his career at Ohio State as a safety.
Transition to linebacker, you can use him in a lot of different ways.
At eight, this is interesting.
Calijah Faulk, edge rusher from Auburn at a number eight overall to the New Orleans Saints.
I'm going arm length.
There is If you look at the like the success for players through the years at edge, yes, it's important to have longer than 31-in arms.
But at some point, I mean not everybody is Myles Garrett with that ridiculously large wingspan.
That's not necessarily going to make you a great edge rusher per se.
But Faulk is a solid talent.
And while most don't have him as a top 10, all you need is one team that sees him that way.
And then boom, you're off the board.
That's the projection here at eight.
The Saints with Faulk.
At nine, Caleb Downs, Kansas City Chiefs.
If Downs is there, that would be interesting.
Eric Berry, he was a top five pick.
I'm not sure if Downs is going to I mean if he goes to the Giants at five, that could be.
It's just that's There's a reason that hasn't happened since 2010.
That's when Eric Berry came out.
The 2010 draft, 16 years ago.
And then finally at 10, Mansoor Delane.
It's another thought that I I know there's some Bengals fans that don't think corner is the move here, or they didn't at least some I've talked to.
But Delane, if you're going to take a corner, he's the best as far as the way most evaluators seem to see it at this point.
Obviously not everybody.
Some see Joey Porter McCoy, but Delain is solid and here he goes to the Bengals at 10.
That's my reaction then Bain against the Dolphins at 11.
We'll bonus that.
It's my reaction to the top 10 from the latest mock draft from Chad Reuter of nfl.com.
One more, Kyle Devorchak from NBC Sports.
Let's see what Kyle has.
The pick is in.
Again, you can write a thousand words or seven and you'll have the same.
He's going there just for no use quibbling over it.
Don't waste time on that.
There's plenty else to figure out.
There's your free parking space.
There's the one you get to Everybody who does a mock draft today, I got one right.
You got Mendoza.
Unless you get the biggest surprise in many many many moons.
And I don't see that happening.
At two, Arvell Reese to the Jets.
So look at this, we've run the entire table here, all these mocks.
Every single one of them has had Arvell Reese going at two to the Jets.
This isn't like AI scrapers copycatting.
That stuff's starting to flood in, which is why the DKDB is my human curated 2026 NFL mock draft database.
Keep the AI regurg out of here.
You know who's been the strongest to tell me to do it this way?
AI.
The LLMs have all told me to do it.
That's why I do some of these things that I do that have worked out very well in the DKDB rebrand.
Let's continue here with this from Kyle Devorchak of NBC Sports.
At three, David Bailey edged to the Cards.
And I'm leaning strongly for my next mock and going in that direction.
Even though I think Francis Mauigoa could be a really good fit for the Cards.
Indications of Bailey more and more.
The Cards will be trying to figure out their plan for the how the draft's going to play out knowing what really got now, and look, you know, you either get Reese or if he goes to the Jets as expected, you can get Bailey.
All right, our edge rusher spot, we've got a premium spot filled there.
Then we can concentrate on day two getting maybe a right offensive tackle.
And I can fill that spot.
Whereas if you're trying to find an elite edge rusher on day two, maybe you'll find somebody.
There should be some talent there, but they're looking for the top edge rusher prospects in the draft, and they are.
These teams are all keeping a look on that.
Always in demand.
Or in demand.
At four, Sonny Styles, linebacker, Ohio State to the Titans.
I could see it.
Now, I think if Bailey's there or Reese is there, especially Reese, I think that maybe that's the move for the Titans.
Sonny Styles?
Maybe so.
Francis Mauigoa to the New York Giants.
Although the War Room check in reports on Cam Akers' health indicate the Giants don't need to address a running back.
We'll see.
Monroe Freeling to the Browns at six.
Again, while I have seen indications suggesting Freeling would not go top 10, a lot of other people are still saying, "Huh?" Kind of makes sense.
And it would mean, look, offensive line is a huge need for the Browns.
And a more developmental kind of player like Freeling makes sense.
The Browns are not likely to contend for the Super Bowl this upcoming season.
But if you're looking towards 2027, get a young offensive tackle that can develop into a top-tier player potentially.
Freeling had a great showing at the combine.
Here's Jeremiah Love to the Commanders at seven.
I could see that happening.
Easily see that happening.
Parnell Tate to the Saints at eight.
Once again.
He's such a steady target.
He's going to get open.
As long as you're not expecting ultra high end track star kind of speed from him.
That's the one thing he doesn't really have.
But he's just a dependable solid receiver.
If you're throwing an out route on third and seven, he's going to be there and if the throw is on the money, if it gets to him, he can catch it.
He will catch it.
Consistency.
Be a nice pick up for the Saints.
And look again, Ruben Bain Jr.
to the Chiefs.
A lot of that.
Or if Bain doesn't go there in that top four to the Titans.
If he slides a little bit.
He was higher, maybe goes here at nine to the Chiefs and then here at 10 Caleb Downs, safety, Ohio State, Cincinnati.
All right.
That's my reaction to the top 10s from some of the latest 2026 NFL mock drafts in the DKDB.
