No AI, no filler, no tandem efforts, no mocks with 1,000 trades.
People with proven track records, major publications, broadcasting outlets, and top independents in here.
Whole bunch of new ones came up yesterday as expected for being Monday of draft week.
And here we are on Tuesday.
My latest 2026 NFL mock draft is online.
A lot has changed in a short amount of time.
Getting that late info in.
This is the time when that decision-making process kicks in.
Who are you going to believe?
Which rumors do you believe?
I tend to believe the things that break between Monday and end of business Wednesday as opposed to the day of the draft.
Let's take a look here.
My final mock draft will be up by midnight Eastern Wednesday night.
Already know the number one overall pick is expected to be Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
The Raiders aren't allowed to say it officially, but there's little question about that at this point.
At two, some intrigue for the New York Jets.
They're expected to take either Arvelle Reese, linebacker who can also play edge rusher from Ohio State, or Texas Tech edge David Bailey.
Latest word tends to be leaning towards Reese.
We'll see.
At three, Arizona, the Cardinals are said to want to be trading down if they can.
They can find a trade partner, but not too far.
And that's where it gets tricky.
You look at some of these teams that are wanting to trade up, or that might, if they had more assets, be looking to with a higher degree of possibility.
Washington at number seven, all the talk they might want to get Jeremiah Love.
They really don't have proverbial dry powder to move up to get it.
Three is going to be a bit of a jump for some teams.
Yeah, it could happen.
We'll see.
There's all the talk of Kansas City maybe moving up from number nine to number three.
But in the case that Arizona keeps the pick, the expectation at this point is that it'll be Jeremiah Love, very talented running back out of Notre Dame.
At four, my hometown Tennessee Titans, David Bailey, edge, Texas Tech.
There are some that believe it'll be either Arvelle Reese or David Bailey here.
And if not those two, then Sonny Styles over Jeremiah Love.
That is the indication that I've heard, that I've picked up on.
Hard to know.
And perhaps the Titans won't have to make that decision.
We'll see what happens.
At five, here we go, New York Giants, Jordan Tyson, wide receiver, Arizona State.
So with Sonny Styles on the board, remember off-ball linebacker is not a premium position the way the NFL is now.
Where it's so tilted in favor of passing attacks and passing defenses.
Jordan Tyson can be a difference-maker as a receiver when he's healthy.
He's got a certain special ability take it to the house and just actually break into the open field.
Look back to that game he played with Arizona State last year against Texas Tech, against a really good defense.
He performed very well.
You get past the injuries, the potential is huge.
And that's the talk there's that the Giants are wanting to go with a receiver here at five, that receiver being Jordan Tyson.
That is the way things are looking at this point.
At six, Cleveland Browns, Francis Mauigoa, offensive tackle, Miami.
I'll say this for the Browns, they've got people talking about a lot of different players.
Of course, offensive linemen, offensive tackles, Spencer Fano, Caden Proctor.
But here I've got them taking Mauigoa.
Had some medical checks done the last couple of days.
And as I understand it, things came out positive for Mauigoa.
Here I've got going to Cleveland at six.
Cleveland wants to trade back from all indications.
Who's trading up?
We'll see.
At seven, Washington Commanders, Sonny Styles, linebacker, Ohio State.
There are some people that believe rather strongly that if Styles is on the board here, that the Commanders will take him.
At eight, New Orleans Saints, Carnell Tate, wide receiver, Ohio State.
There are some who believe this is the floor for Tate, that he won't get past New Orleans at number eight.
In this case, he's on the board, and he goes to the Saints here at number eight.
At nine, Kansas City Chiefs, Spencer Fano, offensive tackle, Utah.
A lot of late talk that Kansas City up here at nine, I felt like I got I got at one point maybe we consider Mansour Delane, corner from LSU.
I kind of felt like that got not pushed back, but not feeling that one as much.
What about edge rusher?
Well, maybe if they trade up.
But here they stay put, and they address a major need.
Remember, Kansas City has not had a top-10 pick in the first round of the NFL draft going back 9 years, to back when they got Patrick Mahomes, back in 2017.
So a chance to go with a premium position.
Offensive tackle it is.
Protecting that quarterback's an important thing.
Got to give Patrick Mahomes Mahomes a little bit of time to make some plays.
That's the talk that Kansas City might be looking to trade up.
The offensive line is expected to be targeted here at number nine.
At 10, New York Giants, Mansour Delane, corner from LSU.
The Giants go receiver at five, Jordan Tyson.
The way it's been looking, that Tyson could very well not be here at 10 for the Giants.
So thanks to the Dexter Lawrence trade, Giants have Cincinnati's number 10 overall pick.
Got them going with person many consider to be the top corner in the draft, Mansour Delane, transfer from Virginia Tech.
Despite LSU having a down season in 2025, he played really well for the Tigers.
Strong expectation that Delane's going to go if not the top 10, then close to it.
At 11, Miami Dolphins, Caleb Downs, safety, Ohio State.
It's difficult for a pure safety to go top 10 in the NFL draft.
And if it's going to happen, you think this would be the year.
Relatively few top quarterback options.
And elite talent Caleb Downs, that read-react ability, really something special.
At 12, Dallas Cowboys.
Here's the deal with the Cowboys.
Everyone seems to believe, or most people seem to believe the Cowboys would like to trade up.
I think they've calmed down a little bit as far as trying to be aggressive in talking to teams about moving up.
Cuz here's the thing with Dallas, they, as I understand it, they don't want to trade the 12 and the 20 to move up.
And they really have limited options in both this year's draft and next year's beyond that to make any sort of serious jump.
But in this case, Dallas gets to stay put, and they get Bane, one of the top edge rushers in the draft.
A really strong motor.
You get full effort on every play.
At 13, LA Rams, Makai Lemon, wide receiver, USC.
Same as before with that.
I know it's tough to get a read on the Rams, but you look at team needs, and receiver certainly makes sense.
At 14, Ravens.
He's back, Venga Yone, offensive lineman, guard, from Penn State.
In one mock, right, moved him down a bit.
I had slightly different way of things playing out with Mauigoa.
But if Mauigoa's not there, I mean, the Ravens, maybe they'll go with Kenyon Siddique, tight end from Oregon, but Venga of the Ravens, I think it makes a lot of sense, particularly in this scenario.
15, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
I had to fade it from C.J.
Allen, linebacker, Georgia.
As much as that makes sense as a fit, I don't see the Bucks necessarily going with that at 15.
And I don't know if there's any teams looking to trade up to 15.
It's kind of a tough spot to move back from, the way most perceive it.
On the flip side, all you need is one team looking to move up.
And the rest doesn't really matter.
But in this case, the Bucks stay there at 15, they get Sedeeq.
As much as it might seem counterintuitive, given that the Buccaneers signed pending free agent Cade Otton to a to an extension, a new contract.
But the word out of Tampa Bay, out of Tampa, is that the Bucks are looking to run some two-tight end formations this season.
And Sedeeq's such a a weapon on offense, such a mismatch.
He's a unique ability with his speed.
Running a sub-4.4 40-yard dash at the combine, a guy that weighs north of 240 lb.
There's aren't many players out there like Sedeeq.
He's a special talent.
16, New York Jets, Jermaine Johnson.
Corner, Tennessee.
McCoy had a torn ACL in January of last year.
He looked impressive at his pro day, University of Tennessee's pro day up in Knoxville.
There still seem to be some concerns health-wise for some teams about McCoy.
Always going to be questions, especially when it comes to corners.
And yet, McCoy, he looked the part certainly on the pro day workout.
The Jets certainly don't have to force it when it comes to a quarterback of the future, considering they have three first-round picks in next year's draft.
But the Jets didn't have a single interception last season.
They have to remedy that.
McCoy would be helpful to that end.
17, Detroit Lions, Caeden Procto.
Offensive tackle, Alabama.
Feel pretty strongly that this is the floor for Procto.
I don't think he'll fall further than Detroit.
He could be gone to Cleveland well above this.
There's some people I think that'll happen.
But if that's not how it plays out, okay.
Detroit at 17 gets Procto, who at 6'7" and north of 350 lb.
He's really a unique prospect, even in a draft that features players with amazing physical abilities.
He's got the athleticism he could legitimately play guard at the NFL level.
But if he goes to Detroit, the expectation is that Procto will be playing offensive tackle.
If Procto's gone, the thought is the Lions will be looking to another tackle potentially here, if not edge rusher.
18, Minnesota Vikings, Jahlani Tavai, safety from Oregon.
This is more than just perceived need and team matchup.
A lot of whispers that this is legit right here, that Minnesota might be interested in Kenyon Sedeeq.
But if Sedeeq is gone as he is here at 15 to Tampa Bay, Minnesota at 18, you get Tavai, Harrison Smith's out, you need a safety.
Tavai made great showing at the combine, a 4.35 40-yard dash.
Solid player, Purdue.
A very good season for Oregon last year.
Tavai to Minnesota at 18.
At 19, Caeden McDonald.
Defensive tackle, Ohio State.
Previously, I had Emmanuel McNeil Warren.
But some people I don't know.
Carolina Panthers fans going through some possibilities and they seem to think that McNeil Warren wouldn't be as good of a fit for Carolina.
But they really like the idea of McDonald.
It's possible McDonald will be the only defensive tackle taken in the first round.
Clemson's Peter Woods a possibility as well.
Maybe Caleb Banks out of Florida, but I don't know.
At 20, Chris Johnson, corner, San Diego State.
So, I felt a considerable fade on AVT, on Tyrique Stevenson.
It's unfortunate.
He's been dealing with some injuries here in this whole offseason process.
Pulled a hamstring, tried to run a 40-yard dash.
Makes it difficult.
Chris Johnson, he's been a riser in this process.
A lot of different corners talked about late first round.
A lot of whispers out of Dallas that the Cowboys are high on Johnson and that he's a strong possibility to go to Dallas at number 20.
21, Pittsburgh Steelers, Omar Cooper Jr.
Wide receiver, Indiana.
They're going to get a rookie receiver for Aaron Rodgers if he comes back.
A player like Cooper who's got great hands and who's tremendous at route running.
Elite talent is great, but they've got to be for a quarterback like Rodgers that knows he's seen so many defenses through the years.
He's got to be able to diagnose it quickly.
He's got to get open.
You got to be where you're supposed to be.
And Cooper will be able to do all of that.
And plus potentially break one defensive slips up a bit.
At 22, Chase Bisontis, offensive guard, Texas A&M.
A lot of talk that the Chargers, if they don't get Vanga here at 22, Vanga Yoane, I've got going to the Lions, that Bisontis is going to be the choice here for the Chargers.
I don't feel it's as strong as the Gray Zabel leak from last year.
This felt very specific for player and team.
And it fell in this kind of sweet spot, a Monday through the Wednesday of draft week.
And you have to be careful who you believe this time of year.
But I think this is a strong possibility.
23, Philadelphia Eagles, Broderick Jones.
Offensive tackle, Georgia.
Had that great showing at the combine.
He's still a work in progress.
Not everybody's sold on Jones.
I thought there's been some pushback on that.
Even those that aren't high on him say, "Well, maybe he's not going to go up at number six overall to Cleveland." But late first round, that's a reasonable range.
We talk about the potential upside.
Philly, a team that seemed to be a great fit when you think about it.
Philadelphia definitely needs to plan long-term for offensive tackle.
But they don't need somebody immediately to punch in there.
Really a little time to get ready.
And then if you need to make that transition for 2027, you got Jones ready to go.
24, Cleveland Browns.
So, the Browns go offensive tackle up at six, or they stick there or trade back a few spots here at 24.
Now, it doesn't mean they have to take a receiver here.
It's going to depend on who's on the board, obviously.
But there's been some like, "Hey, don't just presume it's going to be offensive line and and receiver." Maybe it will be, but that's not exactly set in stone.
But in this case, Boston at 6'4", great size.
Yeah, good pick up here for the Browns at 24.
At 25, well, Emmanuel McNeil Warren back to the Bears.
It's what I thought before, and then I had heard some talk about McNeil Warren to Carolina, but kind of like it got flipped with McNeil Warren and Caeden McDonald.
Didn't plan it that way, it's the way it worked out with this mock.
You look at the Bears, they need players to help them stop the run.
As much as the NFL is based and predicated on passing offenses and defenses, for Chicago, run defense was a huge problem last season.
McNeil Warren, a great size, 6'3" and a half.
Maybe he'll go here to 25, at 25 to the Bears.
26, look at this, Jacob Rodriguez, linebacker, Texas Tech to the Buffalo Bills.
Now, there is some risk in this, because let's say that Arizona wants to trade up for Tyree Wilson.
I think this is a legitimate spot to do it.
Buffalo lacks a second-round pick.
They're said to very much want to go linebacker.
And I know that C.J.
Allen is out there, Anthony Hill Jr.
out of Texas.
But I've heard from a couple of sources that a lot of talk was like, "Just watch Rodriguez, late first round." I was like, "Okay, Draft King, you watch this.
Okay." And then you start hearing Rodriguez and Bills.
Now, here's the risk though, the flip side of this.
If Arizona trades up here to 26, that means Buffalo bumps down to round two.
Maybe they can still get Rodriguez down there with Arizona's pick, early second round.
But that means he falls out of the first round, which is my area of focus.
But with trades, it's tough enough to try and project where these players are going to go.
Trying to project trades, a bit of a tricky thing.
And yet, there's late word that that's the most likely thing to happen as far as Arizona trading up, but perhaps I'll make adjustments ahead of the deadline.
But for now, with Buffalo keeping the pick and going Jacob Rodriguez, linebacker, Texas Tech.
27, Keion White, edge, Auburn.
Bit of a slide for White.
And yet, running it through again with a fresh run here, and White sticks with the 49ers.
I know some think that offensive line's going to be the move here, but I felt recently that there's some that seem to think that's not going to be the move for the Niners.
Falk's on the board.
Some see Falk as a top-15 talent.
So, to that end, he'd be a nice pick up for the Niners at 27.
28, Keanu Lomax.
Offensive tackle, Utah, Houston Texans.
Lomax, a young player who could develop over time as a solid NFL pro.
But, he's versatile and he can help Houston right now at a need spot in its offensive line.
I like that pairing.
At 29, Adonai Mitchell, edge for Miami.
You got Mitchell to Kansas City.
This, of course, presumes Kansas City doesn't go with an edge up at number nine, but if as I have it projected here, the Chiefs going offensive tackle at nine, you come back at 29, fill a needed edge rusher.
Mitchell, who turned 25 earlier this month, is old for an NFL draft prospect, particularly an edge rusher.
He had a fantastic 2025 season.
Kansas City could use an upgrade to its edge rushers.
Here's that projected trade, same as before.
Or, is Arizona moving up, getting the pick that Miami acquired from Denver in the Jaylen Waddle trade.
Here, Arizona gets Ty Simpson, quarterback, Alabama.
At 31, the Patriots, New England.
Cash Harris, edge, Texas A&M.
Great season in 2025 for the Aggies.
10 and 1/2 sacks.
The knock on Harris is the same as the knock on Bain, not even a little bit more so, as far as arm length.
That historic lack of performance from edge rushers with arm length shorter than 31 inches.
And yet, these teams know that and they're still looking at Harris as potential first-round picks.
But, it's something to keep in mind if Harris slides, that could be a reason for certain teams.
Finally, at 32, sticking with Kool-Aid McKinstry, corner from Tennessee to the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
Whether it's here or on day two, you'd figure at some point relatively early on, Seattle would want to fill with this guy as a needed corner.
The downside, you win the Super Bowl, a lot of free agents end up signing lucrative deals with other teams.
The way it goes.
